THE CHALLEnge
To create artwork for their 2022 EP, We Are Worthy, a song written about Glastonbury Music Festival.
The concept
As a music fan—and a Glastonbury fan— I immediately wanted the artwork to be eye-catching but hold lots of easter eggs that only Glastonbury festival fans would recognise, reflecting the niche mentions within the band’s lyrics.
The bins of the festival are art pieces in themselves, so to draw them in this way is part-humour and part-honour. Each one represents an area or feeling of the festival. Sitting these colourful interpretations atop a dark, moody background, blends perfectly with the song’s fun melody and heavier beats.
