Brand identity, logo design
Kate Lindley art
Kate creates incredible hand-drawn portraits (animals, buildings, people—you name it) and wanted a custom logo she could have printed on business cards and materials that sit inside her wonderful art packages.

the challenge
A wordmark logo to represent a high-quality artist, that can sit comfortably in both printed and digital spheres.
the concept
By taking time to trial various fonts, we were able to find the best, beautiful, serif font, where the tails/feet on each letter reference attention to detail—a huge aspect of Kate’s artwork.
An earthy colour palette reflects the idea of nature, and something being authentic and untouched. This logo had to work well on social media too, therefore the alternative lockup logo was born, which sits in a roundel and is ideal for profile photo size.
The overall look and feel fit of the brand is perfectly finessed, with the way Kate packages her final art piece to post to clients.
